Katie Keate Johnson

Hi! It’s Katie. I prefer biographies written in the first person. I wrote this whole website, so it’s only fair that my bio is also in my own voice.

I live in Prospect Heights with my husband and two children—a four-year-old boy and a seven-year-old girl. I spent the majority of my career working in technology sales. I was a sales leader at well-known companies like LinkedIn and Betterment and a few early-stage start-ups.

I am a real estate agent at Corcoran, working with clients in Manhattan and Brooklyn to Buy, Rent, or Sell. I love becoming a trusted advocate, helping my neighbors navigate a stressful journey, and making new friends throughout the process.

As a real estate agent, I have two strategic advantages:

1. My career started in technology sales. Before real estate, I worked at well-known firms like Linkedin and Betterment, as well as early-stage start-ups. I learned communication and management techniques from some of the best companies in the world and how to be a scrappy problem solver. (And accomplish cool things like building your website with a listing feed.)

2. I live like my clients. I am out in the streets, taking my kids to school on the subway, schlepping to activities, stressing about how to fit all of our toys in our apartment. My family loves the life we’ve built in Brooklyn. I recognize it’s not for everyone, but if you’re navigating this journey- I’m here to help.
